At the end of 2020, the Social Gastronomy Movement registered its foundation in Switzerland with a starting capital of CHF 50'000. This was done to facilitate a transparent money flow and a clear governance structure to decide about strategic goals, the funding strategy, budgeting, and the focused use of resources for the global Movement.
Our goal is to enable learnings and tools that impact our members' work on the ground as a network. We open spaces and opportunities to connect, collaborate, and partner (CCP).

To reach our goals, we received the total amount of CHF 276'007 in 2021:

CHF 160 from merchandise
CHF 27'000 was postponed to 2022 due to COVID-related project delays. CHF 223'141 was allocated to finance SGM activities, impact programs, and the backbone team that fosters indirect global impact. CHF 25'503 was spent on overall management, funding, and administration costs. Total expenses incorporating the financial income differentiation and taxes added up to 248'437, closing the year with a profit of CHF 570.
